General
Aeromexico Virtual is a non-commercial virtual airline inspired by Aeromexico and Mexican aviation. We offer a realistic virtual airline experience for flight simulation enthusiasts on IVAO and VATSIM. Our community includes Aeromexico Connect Virtual (regional) and Aeromexico Virtual (mainline), with training, events, and a dedicated global community.
No. Grupo Aeromexico Virtual is 100% free to join. There are no membership fees or hidden charges. We are a volunteer-run community focused on providing a quality virtual airline experience at no cost.
We support Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), X-Plane, and Prepar3D. Our ACARS software tracks and logs flights across simulators. Flights must be flown on IVAO and/or VATSIM.
Our main hubs are Mexico City (MMMX), Guadalajara (MMGL), and Monterrey (MMMY). Our route network and fleet reflect realistic Aeromexico operations.
Yes. All flights must be performed on IVAO and/or VATSIM. Our ACARS validates hours; offline flights are not accepted.
Joining
Click Join in the top menu and complete the registration form. Our team will review your application. If approved, you'll receive a follow-up email and Crew Center login credentials.
To join Aeromexico Connect Virtual, you must have an active IVAO or VATSIM account with at least 100 flight hours logged on those networks. You must hold a minimum rank of FS2 (IVAO) or P1 (VATSIM) and belong to no more than two other virtual airlines. For Aeromexico Virtual (Mainline), we require 450 network flight hours and a Private Pilot (PP/P2) network rank. Alternatively, you can earn your way to Mainline by completing 160 hours within Connect and then requesting a transfer. See our Rules for full details.
Yes. You need an account on at least one network to join and to submit flights. We do not accept offline-only flying.
Visit our Join page and complete the application. You may need to pass a practical navigation test. Allow up to a few business days for a response.
Yes. We allow up to 50 verifiable hours from other VAs. We also offer Fast Track: with a real-world license.
We allow membership in a limited number of other VAs (see Rules). When flying under our callsigns, you must represent our community professionally.
Flying
Aeromexico Connect: at least 4 hours per month. Aeromexico Virtual (mainline): 1 flight/month in Connect (min 1 hour) plus 3 flights/month in Aeromexico (min 3 hours total; 4 hours per month in total). See our Rules for leave of absence.
Activity depends on your division: Connect 4 hours/month; mainline 1 Connect flight (min 1 h) + 3 Aeromexico flights per month (min 3 h total; 4 h/month in total). See Rules for full policy.
You must fly authorized aircraft for your rank and type rating. Operate within IVAO and or VATSIM and fleet. Custom flights are allowed on the Crew Center.

Yes. We host group flights and events on IVAO and VATSIM. Announced on Discord, Facebook Group and the Crew Center.
We use a rank structure: Aeromexico Connect Virtual (regional) and Aeromexico Virtual (mainline, e.g. Boeing 737). Progression is based on flight hours and requirements; see our Ranks and Rules pages.
